“I’m also proud of our work ethic. I feel confident that everyone truly cares about our customers every day.”

Extreme dedication to excellence – both onsite for our customers, and company-wide -- continues to reward us here at CC&N. For example, in 2006, we were the proud recipients of GE Healthcare Global Sourcing’s “Simplification Award” for reducing complexity in our contract’s rate structure, driving simplification in our long-standing contract with GE Healthcare. The new structure frees up GE Healthcare IT and Sourcing resources to focus on additional value-added projects while assuring the quality of the end product.
We were one of only 10 suppliers -- out of approximately 6,300 globally – to be presented with this exclusive award from one of the world’s most prestigious global corporations. We are honored by this distinction, and pledge to keep raising the bar as we deliver excellence in service to our clients.
Middle and High school students in central city Milwaukee are the proud users of a fabulous new computer lab, thanks to the time, talent and hardware donated by CC&N employees.
“Our Next Generation,” a small nonprofit providing academic and personal growth programs to inner city youth, contacted CC&N for help with the proposed lab. According to Executive Director Robert R. Dunn, “After visiting our site, a designer discussed solutions to our phone problems and the data and voice wiring required for our center. He then prepared the layout design -- at no charge -- and arranged for technicians to completely wire our center.
“The company’s donation of an enclosed lockable cabinet to house our server and switches, as well as the donation of all the cables, faceplates, jacks, and patch cables allowed us to achieve a highly functional and efficient network and phone system. The design included advice on upgrading our phones and cabling the entire office for the new system, which include the tech lab and administrative computers, networked printers and copier, as well as our fax system. Also included in the design and installation was setting up a wireless system, which allows students and tutors to be networked and online -- not only in the lab but also at the tutor stations.
“The oversight of this entire process was very professional and considerate…On behalf of the families and children we serve, our organization gratefully acknowledges the support and help we received from CCN. We feel very fortunate that we contacted your company for assistance.”
In 2007, Aurora Health Care was named one of the “Most Wired” healthcare providers for the 4th consecutive year by Hospitals & Health Networks Magazine. And CC&N is proud of our relationship with Aurora as a technology partner of choice.
One of the projects that helped Aurora capture this distinction is the “Wristband Project” – a productive collaboration in which CC&N was proud to play a role. Aurora’s IT department was tasked with reducing medication error among patients by implementing a precision medication barcode system patients could wear on their wrists. With wireless technology and handheld scanners, personnel could then precisely dispense medication at the patient’s bedside.
To accomplish this, Aurora contacted CC&N to upgrade the wireless infrastructure in all of their major hospitals. Our cabling team got right to work, quickly and efficiently installing the majority of more than 2,400 Cisco wireless access points on the Aurora network.
According to Joe Dietrich, Aurora’s Supervisor of Technology Services, the “wristband project” went live on September 14, 2007 at several Aurora facilities -- with no wireless-related issues. Says Dietrich: “Thank you to everyone on the CC&N/Aurora team that worked to make this happen. Our partnership continues to make a difference in the outstanding quality of care that Aurora offers their patients.”
